Where is Christianity practiced in Africa?

Christianity is practiced throughout Africa, with the majority of Christians living in sub-Saharan Africa. Some of the countries with the largest Christian populations in Africa include Nigeria, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, and South Africa. Christianity has a long history in Africa, with some of the earliest Christian communities being established in Egypt and Ethiopia in the 1st and 4th centuries respectively. Today, Christianity is the most practiced religion in Africa, with over 500 million adherents.
