Why is Rwanda poor?

Rwanda is not poor. Rwanda has experienced rapid economic growth in recent years. In 2020, its GDP per capita was 722 US dollars, which is higher than the average for sub-Saharan Africa. Rwanda's economy is based on agriculture, services, and industry. Coffee and tea are the main export crops. The country has also been promoting tourism and attracting foreign investment.
