Is Harappans civilization in India or Pakistan?

The Harappan civilization, also known as the Indus Valley Civilization, was an ancient civilization that flourished in the basins of the Indus River wherefore the name, which today encompasses Pakistan and northwest India. Its area was about 1,250,000 square kilometers, making it one of the world's earliest and largest civilizations along with its contemporaries, ancient Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt.
