Book your flight through either a travel agency or directly with an airline. You can fly with Cubana, Cuba's national airline, or with any other airline that flies regularly to the island such as Air Canada.
Pick up your tourist card at the airport through your airline. If you purchase your ticket from a travel agency they will typically obtain the tourist card for you. The Cuban travel card will allow you entry into Cuba for up to 90 days and is valid for a one-time visit. An example of a tourist card has been provided on the Cuba Tourist Board website at Gocuba.ca.
Report to the airport on the date of your scheduled flight. Have all necessary documents with you such as your tourist card and passport or you will not be able to board your flight. Arrive two hours before your scheduled flight to allow time for security inspections and baggage procedures.
Go through Cuban customs when you arrive in Cuba.Your tourist card will be stamped by a customs official. Claim your bags and exit the airport.
