Which country does the Nile flow through most?
The Nile flows through eleven countries. The majority of the Nile's drainage basin (85%) is located in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Sudan occupies 8% of the basin and Egypt 7%. The river's drainage area covers a total of 3,500,000 km² (1,351,358 mi²) and includes Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
