Is all of Africa a desert?

No, not all of Africa is a desert. Africa has a wide variety of landscapes, including deserts, savannas, forests, and mountains. The Sahara Desert, the largest hot desert in the world, covers much of North Africa, but it only makes up about one-third of the continent's total land area. Other well-known deserts in Africa include the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa and the Namib Desert in Namibia. However, many other parts of Africa, such as the Congo Basin and the Ethiopian Highlands, are not deserts.
