Pai, Thailand: Mountain Town in Mae Hong Son Province

Pai (ปาย) is a small town in Mae Hong Son Province, northwestern Thailand, ~135 km (84 mi) northwest of Chiang Mai and ~30 km from the Myanmar border.

Nestled in a mountain valley along the Pai River. Surrounded by rice paddies, hot springs, waterfalls (Mo Paeng, Sai Ngam), and limestone caves (Tham Lod). Elevation ~600 m—cooler than lowlands.
