When did Thailand become a democracy?

Thailand has never officially become a full democracy, although progress towards democracy has been made since the 1932 Siamese Revolution, which transformed the country from an absolute to constitutional monarchy. Thailand experienced a period of democracy in the 1930s, but military coups and authoritarian regimes have often interrupted democratic progress in the country's history.
