Florida Day Rate Hotels

Though Florida is known for being home to lengthy vacations based around attractions such as Disney World, South Beach in Miami and the Tampa Bay area, not all hotels in Florida impose minimum stay requirements. Hotels throughout Florida provide lodging for those simply needing just one night or one day to rest before carrying on with their trip.

  1. Doubletree Resort Orlando

    • The Doubletree Resort in Orlando is on International Drive and is right next door to Sea World and right down the street from Disney World. The complex is set amongst a total of 28 acres. Though the hotel does not provide shuttle service to the surrounding theme parks, the I-Ride Trolley Service that picks up guests all along International Drive does stop at the hotel. This allows guests to get to and from theme parks without having to drive or pay parking fees, for a low fare. A full-service spa, three outdoor swimming pools, miniature golf course, putting greens and casual dining are all available on-site. Rooms have either one or two bedrooms and afford guests standard amenities, including work areas, in-room wireless Internet access, private bathrooms and coffee makers.

    Holiday Inn

    • Situated on the white sand shores of the Atlantic Ocean is the Holiday Inn of Miami Beach. This hotel allows guests to stay for as little as one night. The large outdoor swimming pool is close enough to the beach that breezes coming in off the surf can be felt. Hammocks are placed at various spots throughout the pool and garden areas for guests to enjoy while relaxing. The lobby is decorated in cool blue hues, with a fountain at the center of the area. Rooms contain flat-screen televisions, work areas, desk chairs, private bathrooms and entrances through interior hallways. The hotel's Paradise Cafe offers a buffet breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner.

    Atlantic Resort and Spa

    • In the heart of the beach area of Fort Lauderdale is the Atlantic Resort and Spa. With no minimum stay requirements, guests can pop in for a one night's stay at this oceanfront hotel. The full service spa at the hotel is one of the property's highlights, along with a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, two on-site dining options, a 24-hour a day concierge, in-room dining and business center services. From the sundeck of the pool area, guests can look right out to the ocean, as the beach is just steps away. Accommodations range from standard rooms to penthouse suites. All rooms offer amenities including private balconies, bathrobes, slippers, coffeemakers and evening turn-down service.

    Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel

    • The Tampa area is a destination for vacationers heading to the beach or local attractions, such as theme parks, water parks or sporting events. Downtown is where business activity thrives, and many people need just a room for a day of meetings in Tampa. Situated in the business district of the Westshore area is the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel. This full-service hotel offers a full suite of business services, heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center and both an on-site full-service restaurant and a coffee shop conveniently located in the lobby area. Guests staying here can choose between standard rooms and suites, all of which come with features including feather beds, iPod docking stations, LCD televisions and both wired and wireless Internet connectivity. The entire hotel is decorated with Mediterranean influences in color, furnishings and decorations, highlighting the Spanish, Latin, Cuban and Italian culture that is prevalent throughout the Tampa region.
