Hotels in Wewahitchka, Florida

Once the setting for the 1997 Oscar-nominated film "Ulee's Gold," the village of Wewahitchka is also a vacation destination. The town is located in Gulf County on Florida's Forgotten Coast, an area that offers plenty of oceanside hotels and local attractions for families, couples and single travelers. With more than 43 miles of shoreline, the region is also home to the charming vacation towns of Apalachicola, Mexico Beach, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass.
