Location of the Tian Shan Mountains

The Tian Shan (Tien Shan) range stretches across Central Asia, spanning the borders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Its highest peak, Jengish Chokusu (Peak Pobedy), reaches 7,439 m (24,406 ft) in Kyrgyzstan. The range features parallel east-west ridges, diverse wildlife (snow leopards, ibex, marmots), and significant glacial systems.
