Is the Great Wall of China touched border?
The Great Wall of China does touch some borders, but it is not a border wall in the sense of defining the territorial boundaries of China. The wall was originally constructed as a means of defence against nomadic tribes and invaders from the north, and its course was determined by strategic and geographical considerations rather than by the location of political boundaries.
While some sections of the Great Wall pass through areas that later became borders, such as the border between China and North Korea, the wall itself was not primarily built as a border barrier. It served primarily as a defensive structure and a means of controlling trade and movement of people along its length.
