How to Visit the Petronas Towers

Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Petronas Towers are two 88 floor towers completed in 1998. From 1998 until 2004, the Towers were the world's tallest buildings. Today visitors can enjoy the many pleasures the towers offer. Head to the top for a view of downtown Kuala Lumpur, walk across the sky bridge that connects the two towers at the 41st floor or enjoy shopping at one of many shops that are accessible to the public. Getting to the towers is not difficult.

      Board a train. An express rail link connects the Kuala Lumpur International Airport to the city. Take the express train to the Sentral Station. From the Sentral Station take the local PUTRA light rail train to the Kuala Lumpur City Station. The towers are right behind the station.

      Hail a taxi. Taxis are widely available at the airport. It should take approximately one hour to reach the towers from the airport.

      Board a bus. Kuala Lumpur has an extensive system of buses that take passengers throughout much of the city for a small fee. The RAPIDKL bus line stops at Wisma Equity, Jalan Ampang. Directly across the street you'll find the towers.

      Acquire a ticket. You will need a ticket to enter the towers. Tickets are free and only available at the Concourse (ground) Level of the towers.
