How to Visit the St. Louis Arch

St. Louis, Missouri is often called the Gateway to the West because it was the last major city stop for wagon trains heading west. To commemorate this distinction, the St. Louis Arch (officially known as the Gateway Arch) was completed in 1967. It is part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial and is operated by the National Park Service.
