How to Visit the Jersey Shore

The Jersey Shore is more than just a popular reality show on MTV. The area encompasses the counties of Monmouth, Ocean and Atlantic in New Jersey. Some of the towns you can visit include Asbury Park, Atlantic City, Ocean City, Ortley Beach and Wildwood. Things to do include visiting the beaches, casinos and amusement parks. Regardless of what you want to do along the Jersey Shore, you have more than one way to get there.

      Drive to the Jersey Shore. The Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway will get you to the Jersey Shore.

      Fly to the Jersey Shore area. You can fly into Philadelphia International Airport, Atlantic City International Airport and Newark-Liberty International Airport. At the airport, you can rent a car to take you to the shore.

      Ride a train or bus to the Jersey Shore. By train, the North Jersey Coast line of New Jersey Transit has stops all along the Jersey Shore. New Jersey Transit also has buses that service the area. If you want to take coach bus service, Academy Bus, Suburban Transit and Coach USA offer routes. Fares vary.
