Asia is the largest continent on Earth, covering approximately 30% of the world's total land area. Russia is the largest country in the world by land area, covering approximately 11% of the world's total land area.
Even though Russia is not technically in Asia, it has a significant influence over the region due to its size, military strength, and natural resources. Russia is also a member of several regional organizations, such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which further strengthen its ties with Asia.
