How to Get to the Lock Up in Shibuya

Shibuya is one of the most popular train stations in all of Tokyo. With its skyscrapers, nightclubs, hotels and restaurant this buys hub attracts tourists and locals alike by the thousands. Many interesting museums, parks and other attractions are also present. However, if you want to skip all that, and instead get handcuffed and led to a stone prison cell surrounded by wails and cries for help, head to the Lock Up.

  1. Getting to the Lock Up

      It might not be fine dining, but it is fun!

      Book one of the seemingly endless hotel rooms near the Shibuya Train Station, and you won't have trouble finding your way to this theme restaurant. Check in at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel and you will be blocks from the train station and the Lock Up.Locate the Shibuya Grand Tokyo Building in Center-gai, the impossible to miss center of the shopping district. The telephone number is 03-5728-7731. Call and get your specific directions (based on where your hotel is located) to The Lock Up, 33-1 33-1 Udagawa-cho.

      Catch one of the many trains to the Shibuya District. This station is ranked third in business in all of Tokyo, so you won't have trouble getting there. Hop on train lines that include Rapid service network trains that go to and from many parts of greater Tokyo and the Rapid Train on the Shonan-Shinjuku Line that travels to cities near Tokyo.

      Hop on a bus. You can also get to the Lock Up at 33-1 Udagawa-cho (remember, just off the main shopping center Center-gai and in the Shibuya Grand Tokyo Bldg.       Hail a cab. Take one of the many taxis to the Lock Up if you want comfort and speed. Any Shibuya taxi driver can take you straight to the Shibuya Grand Tokyo Building.
