Where does china dig to I hear people on beaches telling their children who are digging holes that they China have heard this all over the world so where to?

The claim that digging a hole in the beach will eventually reach China is a common misconception. The Earth is a sphere, so digging a hole straight down will not lead to China or any other specific location on the opposite side of the world. Instead, the hole will eventually curve inward and intersect with the Earth's core.
