Kogen Brewery is where the famous Kogen Beer is brewed and is a popular destination in and of itself for tourists to Gotemba. The beer is brewed according to the German brewing laws of 1516 in order to ensure the purity of the brew and maintain high-quality standards. The Kogen Resort, which is located on the same grounds as the brewery, is home to the Grand Table bar and restaurant. It is set up according to a German theme, so that in addition to large steins of the locally produced beer, traditional Bavarian dishes as sausages are offered. Pizzas, salads and pastas are also available.

Though primarily a restaurant serving traditional Japanese fare such as sushi, Hibiki also doubles as a bar and occasionally even sponsors club nights featuring famous DJs from Tokyo. On those nights, the tables are taken away to form a dance floor. During the day, the bar-restaurant resembles a traditional Japanese dining establishment with a "Zen" atmosphere, with low tables on the ground and pillows for seats. It attracts drinkers from throughout Gotemba and neighboring towns. Hibiki offers the locally produced Fuji Gotemba whisky, which is 18-year-old malt. Kogen beer is also available on tap at Hibiki.
