The Yunnan province has the largest number of ethnic groups in all of China and the Dynamic Yunnan show is where they proudly show their traditional songs and dances. The show lasts for 120 minutes and is separated into seven different themes, including clouds, forrests, feather, sun, moon, fire and mountain. The show is on every evening between 8 and 10 pm.

The 'first wonder of the world,' the stone forest of Kunming is a spectacular collection of rock formations that protrude from the land like trees Travelers need to be reasonably fit as the stone forest covers an area of 248 square miles and many of the paths are steep. One of the most popular areas of the Stone Forest is the Strange Wind Cave where between August and November gusts of wind lasting two minutes blow from the cave every 30 minutes.
There are 52 different nationalities living in the province of Yunnan all with their own distinctive styles. The Yunnan Nationalities Village brings the main 26 minorities of these diverse peoples together in one place, showing examples of housing, religion and dance. The 'villagers' are all selected from the different nationalities to provide tours and information for travelers.
