When is the summer in Singapore?

There is no summer season in Singapore. The country lies near the equator and hence experiences a tropical climate throughout the year, with two distinct monsoon seasons. The northeast monsoon season (also called the winter monsoon), which lasts from December to March, is characterized by heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. The southwest monsoon season (also called the summer monsoon), which lasts from June to September, is characterized by hot and humid weather, with occasional heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
