How long has Victoria falls been there?

Victoria Falls has existed for approximately 150 million years. It was formed when the Zambezi River changed its course and began to flow over the edge of the basalt cliff that forms the falls. The falls have since been eroding the rock, creating the spectacular gorge that we see today.
