What is the middle course of Amazon river?

Amazon river doesn't have a middle course

The Amazon River is the second-longest river in the world, flowing from西 to东 across northern South America.

It is generally divided into three parts:

- upper course: from its source in the Andes to the confluence of the Negro River;

- middle course: from the Negro River to the confluence of the Madeira River;

- lower course: from the Madeira River to the Atlantic Ocean.
