Quebec Has No President: It Has a Premier and Lieutenant Governor

Quebec's Leadership Structure

Quebec is a Canadian province—it has no president.

• Premier (head of government): François Legault (elected, Coalition Avenir Québec)
• Lieutenant Governor (Crown representative): J. Michel Doyon (appointed by Governor General of Canada)

Canada is a constitutional monarchy; provinces have premiers, not presidents. The federal prime minister (currently Justin Trudeau) leads the national government.
