How many animals can you own legally in Meridian Idaho or outside the city limits?

* Horses, Cows, and Donkeys: Up to 2 large animals per acre with a minimum lot size of 10 acres.

* Llamas, Alpacas, and Goats: Up to 4 animals per acre with a minimum lot size of 2.5 acres.

* Poultry (excluding roosters): Up to 18 chickens, ducks, geese, or turkeys per acre, with no minimum lot size.

* Rabbits: Up to 12 rabbits per acre, with a minimum lot size of ½ acre.

* Bees: Up to 2 beehives per acre, with no minimum lot size.

Outside the city limits

* Horses, Cows, and Donkeys: Up to 4 animals per acre, with no minimum lot size.

* Llamas, Alpacas, and Goats: Up to 4 animals per acre, with no minimum lot size.

* Poultry (including roosters): Unlimited number, with a minimum lot size of 1 acre.

* Rabbits: Unlimited number, with a minimum lot size of 1 acre.

* Bees: Up to 2 beehives per acre, with no minimum lot size.
