Where is the Straits of Megellen?

Strait of Magellan, Spanish Estrecho de Magellanes, strait separating mainland South America from the islands to the south, notably Tierra del Fuego. It forms part of the boundary between Chile and Argentina. The Strait of Magellan was discovered in 1520 by the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan, who traversed it in the search for a route from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean.
