Collette Tours in Canada

Collette Vacations offers tours and vacation packages that explore the world's seven continents. Collette has been in business for over 90 years and has been run by the Sullivan family for three generations. Given Canada's stunning scenery, vast landscapes and diverse cultures, it's no surprise that Collette runs tours across the country. As of 2010, Collette has three tours that explore Canada's beautiful East Coast, one that takes in the sights of Eastern Canada and a rail journey of the Rocky Mountains in Western Canada.
  1. Canada's Atlantic Coast

    • During this trip you'll travel along the historic Cabot Trail, in what is likely Collette's least physically demanding journey in Canada. Highlights include Halifax, Peggy's Cove, Cape Breton Island and a side trip to Prince Edward Island.

    Hidden Treasures of the Maritimes

    • This 10-day tour visits the cultural hot spots of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Highlights include the Anne of Green Gables Museum, the Hopewell Rocks and the Fundy Trail that overlooks the Bay of Fundy.

    Natural Newfoundland and Legendary Labrador

    • The Newfoundland and Labrador trip is geared toward travelers looking for adventure. Highlights include Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, Gros Morne National Park, the Viking settlement at L'Anse aux Meadows and the landscapes of Newfoundland and Labrador.

    The Best of Eastern Canada

    • Experience Canada's cultural and political diversity during this trip of Eastern Canada. Expect to see varied architecture, taste assorted foods and experience the hustle and bustle of Canadian city life. Highlights include Niagara Falls and the shrine at St. Anne de Beaupre.

    Canadian Rockies by Train

    • All aboard VIA Rail for this journey of Canada's mountainous west. During this trip you'll see snow-capped mountain peaks and rivers rushing through cavernous valleys. Highlights include a stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, the Athabasca Glacier, Mt. Robson and a night aboard VIA Rail's "The Canadian."

    Tips

    • Don't forget that in most of Quebec and parts of New Brunswick people speak French. Also, the weather in many parts of Canada can change quickly and drastically. Make sure you dress appropriately and bring clothes for various conditions.
