White Mountain Adventures offers guided tours of Banff in both the winter and summer. During the winter, they offer daily snowshoeing trips to the Sunshine Meadows. The tour stops at a hut for hot cocoa and cookies. This trip is not recommended for children under 12. The company also offers private guided half-day tours of Lake Louise, Sunshine Meadows and night snowshoeing.
Summer, spring and fall guided tours include half-day hikes around the Banff/Lake Louise/Kananaskis areas. Hikes range from half-day nature walks of Johnston Canyon to full-day strenuous hikes of Grassi Lakes.

Timber Wolf Tours offers a seven-day guided tour of Banff, Yoho and Jasper. These three parks border each other. The tour goes on day hikes on some of the best-known trails in the park. Participants will be camping in the outdoors throughout the tour. The tour explores the alpine meadows, lakes and the mountains of Banff National Park.
Participants will also be able to explore the town of Banff during their tour. Other sites include the Columbia Icefields near the Banff/Jasper border, where visitors can view large glaciers, and the Athabasca Falls. Reservations must be made in advance since the tours book up early. The maximum group size per tour is 12 people.
