Are there moose in Yosemite Valley?

Moose do not live in the Yosemite Valley, however, they do live in Tuolumne Meadows, which is located approximately 20 miles from the valley. Due to the abundance of willow and aspen found in the meadows, moose frequent this area during the summer months when they feed on the vegetation.
