Who is the Minister of Culture for Ecuador?

The current Minister of Culture for Ecuador is María Elena Machuca. She was appointed to the position on May 24, 2021, by President Guillermo Lasso. Machuca is a lawyer and politician who has held various positions in the Ecuadorian government, including as Minister of Justice and Human Rights. She is also a member of the National Assembly of Ecuador. Machuca holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and a master's degree in public policy from the University of Oxford.
