What is the population of Bahrain?

The estimated population of Bahrain as of mid-2022 is approximately 1.75 million. However, this number is subject to change as the population is constantly fluctuating due to births, deaths, and migration.

The majority of the population lives in the capital city, Manama, and the surrounding metropolitan area, which is home to over half of the country's total population. Other major population centres include Muharraq, Riffa, and Sitra.
