Guyana (officially the Cooperative Republic of Guyana) is an independent English-speaking country on South America's north coast, bordered by Venezuela, Brazil, Suriname, and the Atlantic.

Guiana (or the Guianas) is a historical/geographical region comprising three adjacent territories:

• Suriname (formerly Dutch Guiana)
• French Guiana (overseas department of France)
