Yes, there are around 3,000 lakes in Ecuador with the largest and most biodiverse being Lake San Pablo located in the Province of Imbabura. Some more lakes in Ecuador include Cuicocha Crater lakes. The lake formed in the caldera of an old volcano called Cotacachi. Laguna Quilotoa and Laguna Yahuarcocha which is located near Ibarra Ecuador.
