Where are laws made in Trinidad and tobago?

The Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago is the highest law-making body in the country. It consists of the President of Trinidad and Tobago, the Senate and the House of Representatives. The President gives assent to bills passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives, which then become laws.
