Choose accommodations on Seven Mile Beach for access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Rooms in luxury 4-star resorts generally range in price from $200 to $400.
Expect to pay a lot for accommodations, whether luxury or moderate. Hotels in the Cayman Islands are not cheap and most feature premium amenities.
Fly into Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town to get to Grand Cayman. The airport is served mainly by inter-island flights and international flights from various cities in Florida.
Visit Grand Cayman on a cruise ship as part of a tour of the Western Caribbean or the Cayman Islands. Cruises offer tremendous value with accommodations, meals and some activities included in the fare. Cruise ships dock in the port town of George Town.
Rent a car or scooter to get around the island. Both are widely available and reasonably priced.
Get travel insurance if you are planning to visit Grand Cayman during hurricane season between July and November. Having your vacation ruined by a hurricane is unlikely, but better to be safe than sorry.
Bring your passport and another photo ID for entrance into Grand Cayman. Passports must be valid for 6 months after your return, and you must have a return or onward ticket.
