Are there Christian Communities in Saudi Arabia?

The vast majority of Saudi Arabia's population is Muslim, and it is illegal to publicly engage in religious activities of non-Islamic faiths within the kingdom. Saudi Arabia has a strict religious police force, known as the Mutawwa, which enforces strict adherence to Islamic laws and customs and restricts any form of religious expression that does not conform to the state-sanctioned interpretation of Islam.

While there may be some underground Christian communities or gatherings, these are considered illegal and are not openly acknowledged or tolerated by Saudi authorities. Christian expatriates in Saudi Arabia generally only attend church services within the confines of private diplomatic compounds or foreign embassies, where they are allowed to practice their religion discreetly without attracting undue attention or scrutiny from the authorities.

It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia's strict controls on religious expression and limited tolerance for non-Islamic faiths have raised concerns among international human rights organizations and advocacy groups, who have urged the government to uphold freedom of religion and allow religious minorities to practice their beliefs peacefully.
