While skateboarders were once considered outcasts, in recent years many communities have turned to both private and public skate parks to keep skaters entertained and off the streets. Skateboard parks of all shapes and sizes have sprouted up in towns throughout the southern portion of New Jersey that offer skaters a variety of options and styles.
The Incline Club is a massive indoor skate park that features an array of ramps for both vert to street style. The park features a foam pit, roll-ins, massive wall-rides, spines, ledges and transitions. The park is open to skaters, BMXers, inline skaters and scooters seven days a week. Full pads are required for access and rentals are available. A skate-shop is located on site to serve any of riders needs As of June 2010, the park costs $15 dollars for a single session.

The Washington Township Skatepark is a free outdoor skate park located across the street from the Robbinsville Police Department in the town's Municipal Complex. The park is free for skaters seven years and up, and only a helmet is required for entry. The park was recently remodeled and now features concrete surfaces, a half-pipe, mini-ramp, pyramid, stair-gap, a number rails and other street sections. No skate shop or rentals are available.

The Stone Harbor Skatepark is a free outdoor park in Stone Harbor. The park is built over blacktop and features ramps with skate-lite surfaces. The park is over 5,000 square feet in size with an array of boxes, ledges, stair-gap with rails, a pyramid, and quarter pipes. The park was built in conjunction with local skateboarders and was designed by Skatepark Systems. Helmet, knee and elbow pads are required.
