    Inner Space

    • Opened in 2003, Inner Space is a skateboard park owned and run by true skaters. Owner Mike Martinez, a native of San Francisco, has been skating for over 15 years. He opened the park when he moved to Seattle because he felt a need for an indoor skate park in such a cold and wet climate. Over the years Inner Space has hosted a number of events sponsored by Nike, Fallen, LRG, Matix, Goods and 35th North, among others. The park also hosts week-long skateboarding camps throughout the summer and during local public school vacations. Inner Space is also available for birthday party rentals throughout the year. All skaters under 18 are required to wear helmets and their parents must sign a waiver before they can skate. Yearly memberships cost $40. The first session is free.
