With average annual temperatures hovering between 65 and 70 degrees in northern Florida and 74 and 77 degrees in Southern Florida, finding an outdoor water park isn't a surprise in this tropical paradise. Yet, locating an indoor water park is a bit of a challenge. Very few water parks in Florida offer indoor features. However, three parks do have some indoor water fun to keep you shielded from the sun.
CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort, in Orlando, offers both canopy-covered water attractions and outdoor water attractions. Whether you want to avoid the rain or stay out of the sun, the covered water park will allow you to do just that. The water resort includes five areas featuring water jungle gyms, a lagoon and a variety of slides. The water park is also connected to the hotel where a room and water park package for up to four people starts at just $99 per night as of September 2010. The hotel is approximately 13 miles from Walt Disney World.
