Indoor Water Parks in England

England may not be associated with long hot summers and endless sunshine, but that does not mean that it has a dearth of water parks. Whether it's a white knuckle water rollercoaster you're after or a lazy drift on a meandering canal, England's indoor water parks can meet your needs throughout the year.
  1. Water World

    • Near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, Water World advertises itself as the UK's leading water park. It first opened in 1989 and now attracts 400,000 visitors per year. Water World is open throughout the year, although it is closed on selected days during the school term. It boasts a range of rides and flumes, including Nucleus, the UK's first indoor water rollercoaster, which contains 375 feet of ups and downs. There is also a wave pool, a rapids ride, an area for younger children and an aqua disco.
