Located off the Interstate 65, about 20 minutes from Louisville, Pirate Bay Indoor Water Park Hotel has five water slides, a kiddie pool, a hot tub with a waterfall, and a water sports area to play basketball. Distinctive to the facility is a pirate ship that shoots water cannons. This water park opens daily between 9 a.m. and 9p.m. Guests are charged $10 to $15 per person, according to Kentucky's official tourism website in September 2010. Kids under two can enter free with an adult companion. Parties and group rates for use of the water park may be arranged with hotel management.

Although this water park is open to the public all year round, certain discounts and packages are only available to guests staying for a specific amount of nights. However, all overnight stays include one complimentary water park ticket. The Pirates Bay Indoor Water Park also has a pool party room for special events, but it is only available upon request and should be booked early to ensure its availability during the event.
