Sharonville, Ohio, is a suburban community just northeast of Cincinnati. Because it is near a busy city, there are many hotels nearby. CoCo Key is an indoor water park constantly kept at 84 degrees Fahrenheit located in Crowne Plaza Cincinnati North and Fairfield Inn Cincinnati North. CoCo Key is tropical-themed and is more than 50,000 square feet in size. CoCo Key has many attractions, including a water playground, a lazy river, a spa, an activity pool and four separate water slides. Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the slides. However, the other pools are accessible to all guests regardless of age and size. Rates generally start around $129 per night for a couple as of August 2010. Rates at the Fairfield Inn are less expensive than Crowne Plaza's rates. Packages also are available that provide admission to CoCo Key, Kings Island Amusement Park, the local zoo and other Cincinnati attractions. You can purchase passes to CoCo Key at the front desk if you prefer to not buy a package.

Great Wolf Lodge is a water park and hotel located in Mason, Ohio, very close to Kings Island Amusement Park. Great Wolf Lodge is entirely indoors and offers many attractions, including body and tube slides, two separate spas, a wave pool, an activity pool and a playground. Rates start at $189 per night as of August 2010. The most luxurious room available at Great Wolf Lodge is $329 a night and has a master bedroom with king bed, two queen beds, a sofa sleeper and two 27-inch televisions. The Beach is an outdoor water park in the Cincinnati area open to the public. Admission to the Beach costs $27.99 per day as of August, 2010, however, season passes are available as well. The Beach has a wave pool, a water coaster, play areas and water slides.

Boomerang Bay is an outdoor water park and is a part of Kings Island Amusement Park. Entrance to the park comes with a standard Kings Island park ticket, meaning you have the ability to jump back and forth between the water park and the main amusement park.
