Indoor Water Parks in France

Water parks are great sources of fun, but sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate. It is for this reason that many water parks are indoors. As the weather in France can often be irregular, there are several indoor water parks throughout the country.
  1. Aqualud--Parc d'Attractions Aquatiques

    • Aqualud is Northern France's largest water park. It is located in Le Touque, a town about two and a half hours north of Paris. Aqualud is not open all year long. For the 2010 season, the park was open from April 3 to November 14. The park has 13 giant water slides. There is a restaurant, Le Némo, serving French cuisine in a Jules Verne-inspired atmosphere.

    Aquaboulevard Water Park

    • Aquaboulevard is the largest water park in Europe and is located in Southwest Paris. Aquaboulevard has a wide variety of water activities, including swimming pools, water slides, wave pools and jacuzzis. The facility also has tennis courts and a fitness center. Aquaboulevard is open all year long.

    Center Parcs Les Bois-Francs

    • Located an hour and a half from Paris in Verneuil-sur-Avre, the Center Parcs Les Bois-Francs offers guests a spa, horse riding and nine holes of golf. In addition to these services, it is well known for its indoor tropical theme water park, Aqua Mundo. Aqua Mundo's attractions include wave pools, water slides and a 900-litre tumbling bucket. There is also a private kiddie pool. The center has seven restaurants and a hotel.
