Indoor Water Parks in Washington State

Throughout the country, outdoor water parks are at the heart of summer. Though Washington is no tropical paradise, a trip to an indoor water park can rekindle the carefree days of summer any time of year. Washington's indoor water parks bring the exciting elements of outdoor water parks (slides, wave pools, rafts and even a tree-house fort) inside to clean, climate controlled environments.

  1. Great Wolf Lodge

    • Located in Grand Mound, Great Wolf Lodge is home to Washington's premier indoor water park. Great Wolf Lodge's River Canyon Run is their largest water slide and drops riders six stories in a five-person raft. Features for children include the 4,000-square-foot outdoor Tadpole Pond, an agility course, a 12-level, interactive tree-house water fort, an arcade, evening story time and water slides. Teens will appreciate the gr8_space Tech Center where they can come to listen to music, play video games, watch movies, snack and charge their iPods. Parents and adults may find relaxation in the jumbo whirlpools or in the fitness room.
