A trip to an indoor water park is an ideal way to chase away the winter doldrums, and is a popular choice for birthday parties and school events. Even in the dead of winter, northern Indiana residents can don a swimsuit and splash around in summer-like weather at an area indoor water park.
Splash Universe features 100,000 gallons of indoor water park fun. Attractions include a lazy river to float on, a 500-gallon dumping bucket, and slippery twisting water slides. Guests can also enjoy family dining at the Snack Barn or check out merchandise in the Splash Crafts Country Store. As of September 2010, Splash Universe is open from Friday to Saturday during the school year and open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. when school is out.
