  1. Enjoy the Water Activities

    • The pristine waters around St. Marteen are remarkable. With an underwater visibility of 100 feet and more in some areas, one can delight in the multitude of marine life that abounds near the coral reefs. With many of the reefs being close to shore, one is able to enjoy snorkeling without venturing far from the beach. For the more adventurous scuba divers, there are over 40 diving sites in which to explore this glorious underwater world.

If fishing is more to one's taste, there are ocean charters which offer full and half-day fishing trips. These trips give the fisherman the opportunity to bring in marlin, tuna and wahoo and periodically the island features big-game fishing tournaments.

Learning to sail in St. Marteen is a favorite pastime in the calm waters of the lagoon.
