The Royal Caribbean ships "Radiance of the Seas" and "Jewel of the Seas" make the journeys and are both less than 10 years old and over 90,000 tons. Both ships fall into the Royal Caribbean's Radiance Class of ships, which focus on wide open spaces and unobstructed views of the surrounding waters.

Holland America Line's "MS Ryndham" performs the Western Caribbean loop with seven-day sailings, some of which can be combined back-to-back to create a 14-day trip. Stops include Key West, Falmouth, Georgetown, Cozumel, Belize City, Mahogany Bay and Costa Maya. The "MS Ryndham" was built in 1994 with a refurbishment in 2010, and weighs in at just under 59,000 tons. Some of the new features on board include the Culinary Arts Center, which offers cooking lessons, and Explorations Cafe.

Carnival Cruise Line offers four-, five-, seven- and nine-day trips each year aboard the "Carnival Legend" and "Carnival Inspiration." The "Legend" is the newer of the two ships, built in 2002 with a 2006 refurbishment. It features the Carnival Legend Dream Team sports bar, and has a gross tonnage of 88,500. The "Inspiration," which features the Carnival Water Works' water park, was built in 1997 and refurbished in 2007, and weighs in at 70,367 tons. Travelers on Carnival's ships will call at Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize City and Costa Maya.
