The Cloister is a 14th century cloister from southwest France which was originally purchased and moved to Paradise Island by the media magnate and subject matter for Citizen Kane, William Randolph Hearst. It now stands in at the One&Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island, in the Versailles Gardens.When it arrived on the island in the 1920s the packers had failed to include instructions. It lay neglected until the 1960s when Huntington Hartford purchased and constructed it as a best guess.
