Nassau International Airport, also known as Lynden Pindling International Airport, is just 10 miles to the west of Nassau, capital city of the Bahamas. This is the largest airport in the Bahamas and the only international airport. Visitors to Paradise Island can take a taxi from Nassau International over one of the island's two bridges. It is also possible to take a ferry from Nassau to Paradise Island. Nassau International Airport features a United States Border pre-clearance facility. This means that American citizens traveling through this airport can arrive in the domestic terminals in airports in the United States, avoiding customs and immigration lines at home.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is situated between the cities of Fort Lauderdale and Miami and processes over 21 million passengers per year. If you are taking a cruise ship to Miami, your cruise provider may have airport shuttle service. Otherwise, you can reach both Port Everglades and the Port of Miami in under an hour via taxi.
