Kai Lani Catamaran teams up with a local wine broker to put together a singles cruise on the third Wednesday of each month. For $40 per person, singles from the Tampa Bay area can meet new people while enjoying wines from around the world. Breads and cheeses complement the wines. For singles who do not enjoy wine, the catamaran features a cash bar with beer and nonalcoholic beverages.

Westchase Singles Club boasts more than 1,800 members and hosts more than 170 events a year. Members of the largest singles organization in Tampa range in age from about 30 to 55 and up. Westchase Singles Club, a members-only organization, plans two to four singles cruises per year. For example, the club offers members a five-night Labor Day weekend cruise to Cozumel and Grand Cayman in 2010, with prices starting at $379 for a double-occupancy room.
